Sole Technology, Inc. of Lake Forest, California, manufacturer of Etnies, Emerica, Es, and Thirty-Two action footwear has developed a new shock-impact shoe sole, known as the System G2.
The sole features Chase Ergonomics Inc.'s Gpact shock impact gel, and is designed to reduce the risk of injury for skateboarders exposed to frequent, violent impacts during stunts. Gpact was originally developed for use in work gloves, to act as a barrier between hands and arms and the shock created by hammers, tamping bars and other high impact tools.
Other product applications include GripStrip tool handle wrap, baseball bat wraps and shock absorbing baseball fielder's gloves. The new shock/impact System G2 shoe soles are available in selected Sole Technology shoe styles. |
