Chase Ergonomics, Inc. was founded in 1991. Its mission--to bring medical/scientific discipline to the
development of products sold as personal protective equipment for the reduction of musculoskeletal injuries-- sets it apart in a crowded field of suppliers of ergonomic products without a focused approach.
The company founders have backgrounds in medical device design, manufacturing and marketing, corporate finance and general management.
The Decade® line of safety products manufactured by Chase Ergonomics includes back supports,
vibration-reducing and shock-impact gloves, a wide range of small braces and supports for wrists,
ankles, knees and elbows, and landfill-biodegradable safety glasses.
In an industry where the trend has been to downgrade materials and workmanship for cost savings, Chase
Ergonomics typically upgrades its products as research dictates and improved materials become available
or are developed--often by Chase Ergonomics itself.
The company works with medical and engineering researchers in the US and abroad who are
acknowledged authorities in the fields of body mechanics, whole body and hand-arm vibration and specific
cumulative trauma areas.
By taking this approach to product development, Chase Ergonomics has maintained a leadership role in an
industry which has no domestic regulations regarding design or materials. When regulations do exist-such
as European Standards or ISO--Chase Ergonomics strives to meet or surpass those standards in
Decade® products.
Chase Ergonomics, Inc. is a closely held private corporation with the majority of its stock held by corporate
officers and active members of its board.
Corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
